Since the early 1990's I have been creating works which use broadcast signal (electromagnetic spectrum and other telecommunications technology, including phone and streaming) as concrete artistic material. LIVE TELEMATIC PROCESSING WITH VOCALIST JILL BURTON - live processing of phone feed from vocalist Jill Burton utilizing custom Max (MaxMSP) program, streamed live over internet. Presented at various live and virtual locations including the Network Music Festival UK 2013 (January 2013).
DVNT AND DOLLY (2011-2012) - live improvisational electronic duo with Doug van Nort, presenting telematic audio and video collaborations live over the internet, utilizing Max (Max/MSP/Jitter), UStream Producer and a variety of other programs and technology. Performances: WGXC/free103point9 (Sept. 2011), Deep Listening Dream Festival (November 2011) and Network Music Festival UK 2012 (January 2012).

THE PHONE IMPROV SHOW (2010) - sixteen audio programs featuring live musical improvisations utilizing phones, streamed live on Blogtalkradio as part of the 2010 Improvisor Festival in Birmingham, Alabama, August 2010.
AMICA BUNKER REUNION AT THE STONE (2010) - Organized by Chris Cochrane, this event featured a reunion of selected individuals who had been part of the Amica Bunker improvisational music series, which happened in the East Village from roughly 1988 to 2005. As my participation, I routed out-of-town improvisors who called in via phone into the space so that they could improvise with the live players. Phone participants included David Watson in New Zealand and Kiku Wada in Hawaii.
